Cookie Policy
Published · Updated
This notice explains how the OcuPlan website (https://ocuplan.co.uk/) uses cookies and similar technologies, such as local storage, that can store or read information on your device.
Cookies set by this website
This website does not set any cookies of its own. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not use tracking pixels. Because of this, we do not show a cookie banner.
Embedded YouTube videos
Some pages include videos hosted on YouTube. Until you press play, we only show a preview image, which is loaded from YouTube's image server (i.ytimg.com). This image does not set cookies, but YouTube (Google) will receive your IP address and basic browser information when it is loaded.
When you press play, the video loads from YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com). YouTube may then store information on your device, for example in local storage, to play the video and to prevent fraud and abuse. This is controlled by Google rather than OcuPlan. You can find out more in Google's Privacy Policy. If you don't want this, don't press play on embedded videos.
Managing cookies
You can choose to block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. Blocking them won't affect how this website works, but embedded videos might not play.
Links to other websites
This website links to other websites. We do not control their cookies or tracking technologies, and this notice does not apply to them.
Changes to this notice
If we start using cookies or similar technologies on this website, we will update this notice first. Where the law requires it, we will also ask for your consent before using them.
