Melanie Chak MA (Cantab) MBBS MD FRCOphth was appointed as Consultant Ophthalmologist to the Great Western Hospital, Swindon to lead the oculoplastics service. She provides a comprehensive service for patients with disorders of the eyelids: ectropion, entropion, ptosis, droopy lids, lumps on eyelids, eyelid bags/excessive skin and tear drainage systems. She also provides small incision cataract surgery and leads clinics in acute and general eye conditions at the Great Western Hospital and Eldene sites. Miss Chak also has an interest in facial cosmetic surgery and has been injecting botulinum toxin for over 10 years
