Mr Amar Alwitry is an experienced ophthalmologist, ophthalmology lead, and award-winning local Eye Surgeon. He has written two textbooks and edited a third. He has published more than 35 research articles and has a masters in medical law. He is a speciality advisor in ophthalmology to the Care Quality Commission and former lead glaucoma specialist at a local teaching hospital. He has written a book entitled Shared Care Glaucoma and so is ideally suited to offering the highest calibre care for glaucoma/ocular hypertension, and all chronic eye conditions under the OcuPlan model.
