As part of Macular Disease Week, we are holding a free webinar for people living with age related macular degeneration. The webinar will be hosted by consultant ophthalmologist Dan Calladine who will be talking through common AMD questions and participating in a live Q&A.

Overview

Do you have questions that you'd like answered on age related macular degeneration? Join us for an interactive webinar to learn more about AMD and take the opportunity to ask our consultant ophthalmologist Dan Calladine any question.

The webinar will benefit people living with AMD or at risk of it. The session will last approximately an hour and will cover the following:

  • Common AMD questions answered: Mr Calladine will present for 30 minutes discussing common AMD questions that he is often asked in clinic. From how to slow the progression of AMD to what to do if you're worried about your vision
  • A quick introduction to the OcuPlan Free Service: We recently launched a free sight support service specifically for people living with AMD, we will spend a few minutes explaining how you can benefit from the service
  • Live Q&A: An opportunity for you to ask Mr Calladine any question about AMD. He will try to answer as many as possible.

    Dan Calladine is a full-time private ophthalmic surgeon based in Worcester and the West Midlands. He is dedicated to treating patients with eye disease including age-related macular degeneration and glaucoma using the very latest techniques.
